Problem

Rope switches with long lanyard runs along conveyors are prone to spurious false trips due to ambient temperature variations. This is more common in cold extremes. A trip increases downtime while waiting for field service personnel to travel to the location, adjust the lanyard tension and reset the rope switch.

Solution

Install the balanced rope switch system that does not have any false trips due to the influences of high and low ambient temperature variations.
